Dear Dr. Brown,
I wanted to express my heartfelt thanks for the successful surgery you performed on me this past February. Thanks to your skill, I was able to return to competition by July with my ultimate Frisbee team and to take part in a memorable season that included a bronze medal at the World Championships and gold at the National Championships in October.
Thank you for making time to see me over your Vail ski vacation in February. I was getting to my wits end trying to figure out how to get better from my injury, and you provided a certain diagnosis and clarity over the best course of action going forward.
Once again, thank you for giving me the ability to play the sport I love, as well as enjoy the outdoors again. Hope you have a happy Thanksgiving yourself, and best wishes for the holiday season and the new year. Maybe I will see you again on the slopes of Vail!
